This car is a clone of my original 1973 TR6 I bought new in 1973. Mimosa and Chestnt. No overdrive. Stock engine spec except for a Pertronix ignition. Rear shock conversion.
I fittied a 14” flat riveted wood laminate steering wheel, 205/15 red stripe radial tires and a new original style dash from TRF.
My suspension is now rebuilt. A major improvement.
The engine will eventually be rebuilt, probably with higher compression and a street mild performance cam.
I drive 5-6 2 to 3 day rallies a year and many half day drives, all with local 1975 and under sports car groups. So drivability and reliability (to a degree) are a priority.
