Late production 1500 with high mount starter and 1600 type 4-speed transmission, solid wheels, drum brakes and a 4.33 differential. Car was dispatched from factory in Glacier Blue with a gray interior and an Ice Blue convertible top. It was resprayed red in 1977 and the interior was also redone in red.
Future plans for it is to convert to a modified MGB drive train: 1.8L 5-main B-Series gold seal factory rebuilt unit with Weber DCOE-45 carburetor, all synchro 5-speed N9 Ford transmission and MGB 3.9 differential. Upgrade it's braking system to 1600 front disc brakes and MGB rear drum brakes and add a stock front stabilizer sourced from a 1600 MK I. Suspension upgrades are TBD.
