The Prototype of only Six Palm Beach MK 2 Roadsters built before the company ceased production in 1958, this very car was displayed for the first time on the Allard stand at London’s Earls Court International Motor Show in 1956.
Initial restoration completed in 2014 by Alan & Lloyd Allard; the son and grandson of legendary automotive pioneer and company founder Sydney Allard. Effectively a car uniquely designed by Allards, manufactured by Allards, and ultimately restored by Allards. Restoration refreshed by present owner.
Bespoke all aluminum alloy body conceived, designed, and hand built in-house by the Allard Motor Company, utilizing Allard’s revolutionary lightweight steel tubular frame chassis construction.
Powered by British Ford’s robust 2.6 litre Zephyr OHV straight six engine with triple SU H2 carburetors, built to Allard’s own high performance racing specifications, later adopted and further developed in the renowned AC Ace Ruddspeed roadsters.
