I have a 1989 automatic mini. It has a 998cc motor. The car cranks up and runs fine. When it is put into gear and given gas the car dies. I have rebuilt carb but it seems like it is dumping fuel. Before I buy a new carb I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Thanks

Is there any vacuum connection or valve associated with the automatic transmission?
