One of the best family classic car shows. You can expect more than 1000 historic vehicles over 25 years old. Not an exclusive concours event ... just a great opportunity for enthusiasts to get together, show off the classic wheels and share with others of similar interests. I have been there when there were over 2500 classics ... truly magnificant.

I've been going for 5 years (1700 km return) and will be there this year again in 'Max'.

Hope you can make it ... only just over an hour from Melbourne on the Calder.

See you there (Entry $20 for cars $5 for Bikes)

Grahame

THE PANHANDLE BRITISH CAR ASSOCIATION will present our 25th Pensacola British Car Show on April 21st-22nd, 2017, scheduled to be held at Seville Square park bordered by E.Government St, S.Alcaniz St, E.Zarragossa St. and S.Adams St, just two city blocks off E.Main St, and a short distance south-west of our previous location. Seville Square is a shaded park only a few feet from the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It's a lovely vacation or weekend paradise only walking distance to restaurants and shopping in the historic downtown Pensacola area.

Participants Choice Award” and Class Awards are determined by the votes of registered show participants. The “Best of Show Award” is a Judged Award. Each vehicle entered will receive a ballot and dash plaque placed in the car at noon. Voting closes at 2:00 pm and awards are at 3:30pm. There are approximately 26 classes as determined by pre-registration numbers and each class will be awarded a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy as applicable. There also are several special awards and some surprise awards. This is not a "concours" show, but a chance for British car lovers to get together, display their cars and have a good time. Any car can go home with a trophy. So bring your British "ride" this year and enjoy the camaraderie.

Apr

Location Cascade Mall, South Burlington Blvd, Burlington, WA, USA
Date April 22, 2017

The Tulip Rallye is a laid back and casual "gimmick rallye" where the challenge is to spot and record the answers to questions based on signs and objects found along the way while following turn-by-turn route driving instructions, devilishly laid out by the Rallyemaster, whose job it is to make you laugh as you attempt to find the answers to the rather silly questions, riddles, and trivia. Also note that we don't use the traditional "tulip" symbols in the route instructions.

This is not a traditional time-speed-distance event. No special knowledge nor equipment is needed to enjoy your car, your companion, the company of fellow enthusiasts and incredible roads and scenery.

Begun in 1982 as a way for a few enthusiastic members of the MG Car Club Northwest Centre (MGCCNWC established in 1957) to tour the scenic Skagit Valley, this event has grown to include as many as 300 cars from over 30 car clubs from as far away as Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia.

The Tulip Rallye has become a "must do" spring event for those car enthusiasts who truly enjoy the thrill of driving on country roads with so many other like-minded car hobbyists!

This hugely popular event takes place again on the June bank holiday 2017, between Friday June the 2nd and Monday June 5th.

Classic cars from all over the globe are welcome to join in this journey back in time experience. The original Gordon Bennett route was first run in 1903 and travelled through the charming country sides and villages of Kildare, Carlow and Laois. However, instead of the neck-breaking race it once was, this event invites you to take a gentler approach and to travel at your own pace whilst embracing the experience of a weekend filled with fun, nostalgia and liked minded individuals.

Civic resumption by Laois County Council; Gala Dinner (very casual); Beautiful planned car runs; plaques and prizes; and an experience of driving the original course, through the inspiring splendour of the Irish countryside or ambling through the quaint and curious little towns. 10th Annual Friends of Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show

“The Sand Pebbles” VIP Dinner: Friday June 2, 2017
Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show: Saturday, June 3, 2016

“Hello, Engine. I’m Jake Holman.” – Steve McQueen as Jake Holman in “The Sand Pebbles”

Chino Hills, CA: Expect a liberty when the 10th Annual Friends of Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show calls port at Boys Republic, 1907 Boys Republic Drive, Chino Hills, CA, on June 2-3, 2017. Trading battleship machinery for vehicle engines, this year’s event will revolve around the Robert Wise directed film, “The Sand Pebbles”, for which Steve McQueen received an Academy Awards nomination as best actor.

The action begins Friday evening, June 2, with “The Sand Pebbles” VIP dinner. The evening will include a silent auction and wine tasting, followed by a movie themed dinner program and live auction. The meal will be planned, prepared and served by culinary students of Boys Republic.

The car and motorcycle show will take place on Saturday, June 3. Discounted pre-registration opens January 1, 2017 on the website and closes May 1, 2017. Due to space limitations, pre-registered vehicles will receive first priority in display placement.

Enthusiasts wishing to head out on patrol may sign up for the 2nd Annual Steve McQueen Rally, sponsored by Russo and Steele, and taking place on May 6 and 7, 2017. Participants will begin their two-day journey in the Cuyamaca mountain town of Julian, traversing to Borrego Springs, with an overnight stay in the Palm Desert area. More information will be available on the Friends of Steve McQueen website.

The Boys Republic was established in 1907, as a private, non-profit community for at-risk boys and girls, ages 13-17. McQueen attended as a student from 1947-49. The actor credited the school with turning his life around and pointing him on the path to success. He never forgot that connection, and remained involved with the school even after he became a Hollywood star and legend. The McQueen family continues that involvement today.

Over the past nine years, the car and motorcycle show has raised more than $1 million, with all proceeds donated to Boys Republic. As a result, improvements to the campus include a new teaching bakery, renovations of the 60 year-old gymnasium, and complete renovations to the six campus living units. For students participating in the school’s re-established auto-tech class, monies have been pledged to fund an annual scholarship to graduates continuing these studies at the community college level.

The show was originally established by members and friends of the Porsche 356 Club of Southern California, and continues to attract automobile, motorcycle and off-road enthusiasts from throughout the United States.

The CT MG Club's
30th ANNIVERSARY
"BRITISH BY THE SEA”
JUNE 4TH 2017 HARKNESS MEMORIAL STATE PARK, WATERFORD CT

The CT MG Club's "BRITISH BY THE SEA” is a fun GATHERING of people who own and appreciate British Vehicles of all Marques. Although we do present etched glass mug awards to vehicles selected by popular vote, "BRITISH BY THE SEA" is not a judged show. We want to encourage ALL British car, truck, and motorcycle owners and enthusiasts to attend and have an enjoyable time. Whether your vehicle is in pristine condition, or a daily driver, sparkling paint and chrome or with “Barn Fresh” patina, it deserves to be part of the event and on the display field.

This is going to be our 30th anniversary event, and we want to make it Special ! The Featured Marque for this year’s 30th Anniversary British By The Sea is the MORRIS. As usual, our Featured Marque will be prominently displayed in the front row, and will have generous room to display the vehicles along with any club tents for memorabilia and hospitality.

Our BBTS Gathering is always scheduled on the first Sunday in June, at the scenic 240 acre Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford Ct., on the north shore of Long Island Sound. We want to encourage people to come down and enjoy a day mingling with other LBC owners, talk about cars, have a picnic, a glass of wine, and also take in all that Harkness Memorial State Park has to offer, such as the beach, the Mansion “Eolia”, and the Gardens. The CT MG Club donates a large amount of our proceeds from BBTS to the Park to purchase plants for the West Gardens, helping to restore the “Eolia” Gardens to their original grandeur as designed by Beatrix Farrand in 1919. In addition, we provide “people power” over a few weekends to plant them.

We have selected a variety of quality food vendors to attend in order to satisfy any appetite, from hot dogs and hamburgers, lobster rolls, and wood fired brick oven pizzas, to Ice Cream for desert. You can also bring a picnic to enjoy and share “out of the boot” of your car.

The expansive lawn areas offer ample room for the display vehicles, vendors, spectator parking and a spacious area for trailer parking.

We hope to see you all on Sunday June 4th 2017

Simply one of the best days of the year... the cars bring people together in ways that just do not always happen on a normal day. Suddenly people who have never met are sharing stories about the cars in their life, the impact they had... the memories of that time... and people just come alive in ways that they have not seen in awhile... it is truly amazing and the cars are cool too!
