Great and well-attended annual British car show now includes Euro classes - all European marques welcomed!

Wheels Across The Pond is one of the premier British Classic Car and Motorcycle Shows in the state of Florida taking place on Easter Saturday each year at the beautiful Carlin Park in Jupiter. Our first show took place in 2007, and in 2013 we had an entry list consisting of 212 British Classic Cars and Bikes and more than 2,000 spectators as well as local automotive dealers bringing us new models from Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Bentley, MINI and Morgan. In 2009, we introduced a Euroclass which allows owners of European marques to join us at the show. Wheels Across The Pond is a non-profit organization and our show raises money each year a Jupiter-based no-kill animal rescue center, the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary.

SEVENTEENTH ANNUAL AUTOJUMBLE! A let's – get – ready – for – SUMMER swap meet for British cars, parts, and related items. This meet is scheduled for the last Sunday in April to allow time to get your prize vehicles ready to DRIVE. Because of the success of our previous Autojumbles and the lack of British auto items at the much larger Portland Swap Meet, we are committed to making this an annual affair. (Remember, always the last Sunday in April.)

We are continuing with the same successful format; inexpensive for exhibitors, free to buyers, and not over-organized. The focus is on British car stuff only – no muscle cars, model "A" Fords, speed equipment, or antique or collectable glassware. Only British cars and car related items will be displayed.

The sites for parts vendors will be covered in case of rain. There will be adequate space for cars to be displayed for sale, possibly covered.

Any British car club that has members committed to a total of five or more spaces will get the use of a free space to solicit membership or sell regalia.

The Friends of McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show 2014
1907 Boys Republic Drive Chino Hills, CA 91709

“Like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel…”

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping…

Chino Hills, CA: Save the dates of June 6 & 7, 2014, for your own extraordinary affair as The 7th Annual Friends of Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show celebrates “The Thomas Crown Affair”. The soiree will commence Friday, June 6, at the beautiful campus of The Boys Republic of Chino Hills, CA

Thomas Crown and Catherine Banning may not be in attendance, however, the original 1967 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow two-door sedan and 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4S NART Spyder used in the film will make their cinematic presence felt throughout the entire event. Friday night’s celebration will feature elegant dining on the grass, with a repast prepared and served in sophisticated style by students of the Boys Republic. The gathering, emceed by automotive author and expert, Matt Stone, will include a silent auction, a memorabilia display and a high-spirited live auction. Once again, famed automotive artist, Nicholas Hunziker, has created an original work of art capturing the King of Cool as the suave Thomas Crown.

“We are also excited to have the involvement of Bruce Meyers, creator of the legendary Meyers Manx, the dune buggy that became an icon of pop culture,” said Ron Harris, co-chair of the event, with Chad McQueen.

The Friends of Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show has experienced steady growth and increasing popularity witnessed by the array of more than 300 classic cars and nearly 100 motorcycles at the 2013 show. Approximately 5,000 attendees perused the grounds, enjoying up close and personal views of collectible cars and motorcycles.

Last year’s event donated approximately $210,000 to the Boys Republic, established in 1907 as a private, non-profit community for at-risk teens. Alumnus Steve McQueen attended from 1947-49 and credited the school with pointing him on the path to success. McQueen never forgot and was a frequent visitor, even after he became a Hollywood star and legend. The McQueen family continues that involvement.

The car and motorcycle show will take place Saturday, June 7th. Pre-registration will be open online at the website after January 1, 2014. Due to space limitations, pre-registered vehicles will have first priority in display placement.

All proceeds will benefit the Boys Republic

Nestled midway between historic Marshall, and lovely Middleburg, deep in the rolling hills of Virginia's incomparable Hunt Country, lies Willoughby Farm, home of our host, Barbara Scott.

In October the vista is an artist's palette of breath-taking color. This is the setting for the MG Car Club, Washington, D.C. Centre's Hunt Country Classic British Vehicle Show.

And, there's entertainment for everyone, from apple pressing for the kids, to hayrides for all to round out the day! Additional entertainment is provided by the Alexandria Pipers. Combine this with a delicious lunch, and you have the Hunt Country Classic experience...one without equal.

This year we will be continuing the Prince of Wales class. All first place winners from the previous year will automatically be entered in the prestigious Prince of Wales class. There they will be judged, and the "best of the best" will win the coveted Prince of Wales award.

Each year the Hunt Country Classic holds a silent auction, with the proceeds going to a charitable organization in the local area. Again this year we have selected the Middleburg Humane Foundation, a non-profit farm shelter for large and small animals located in Marshall, Virginia. It specializes in the rehabilitation of abused and neglected animals. Last year we raised more for MHF than in any year before. We hope to do even more this year! Learn more at www.middleburghumane.com.

Preregistration by September 30th: $20.00
Registration after September 30th: $25.00
Spectator Parking & Admission:
$5.00 / car
$2.00 / motorcycle
