Website http://www.caroc.com/ClubInfo/Track/BFR.php
Location Blackhawk Farms Raceway, 15538 Praire Road, South Beloit, WI, USA
Date July 02, 2015

The Midwest Austin-Healey Club (AHCA) and the Chicago Alfa Romeo Owners Club (CAROC) invite you to extend your holiday weekend and spend at least part of a day experiencing the 2.0 mile Blackhawk Farms Raceway track. Come and enjoy the day with family and friends in the comfortable, rural setting while enjoying a track experience in your own car.

*** All makes of cars are cordially invited and encouraged to attend. ***

Transponders are available for those registering and paying in advance to provide the driver with times for every lap, thereby allowing the driver comparison times to determine improvements gained or lost.
We also provide instructors to help you improve your driving skills. Instructors on a ‘first-come, first-served” availability and are at the driver’s discretion. Even experienced drivers make use of our instructors to add to their expertise.

We limit attendance to give this event more of an atmosphere of friendly competition because you’ll likely know or get to meet all of the other drivers. Also, this low number means that you get a lot of track time in a one-day event.

Full day sessions are recommended; however, half-day sessions are available at a reduced price, as well as 45 minutes of limited speed Touring at midday. For lapping, cars must pass safety tech inspection with helmets and seat belts required. There will be 3 run Groups (excluding Touring):

A—Competition
B—Intermediate
C—Novice

Please note roll bars are required on all open top cars participating in Group A.

Full Day: $260
1/2 Day: $140
Touring: $40

Want to watch the action close up and go Touring at no charge? Register to be a corner worker for the day!

You may register for this event online or download the registration form for mail-in at http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/frmEventDetail.Show?psevent_id=15424.

Location King's-Edgehill School, 33 Kings Edgehill Ln, Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada
Date July 11, 2015

The Sixth Annual British Motoring Festival will take place July 11, 2015, and once again we will enjoy the beautiful King's-Edgehill School campus in Windsor, Nova Scotia. King's-Edgehill is the oldest private school in Canada, dating back to 1788. The 65 acres of lawn and shade trees is just 40 minutes from Halifax.

Last year the Saturday events saw 150 participating vehicles from New England, Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic Provinces, and was well attended once again by visitors who came to see the great cars, motorcycles, trucks, even tractors, as well as to enjoy some authentic British cuisine and entertainment.

This year we have additional fun for the family with a demonstration Cricket Match, discussions on certain manufacturers and restorations, valve cover racing as well as English cuisine, art work, and gifts. Once again, folks can enjoy the town-walk showing historic properties.

For participants, on Friday evening there will be a wine and cheese reception, Saturday has the show with public viewing from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday evening participants can join us for a banquet in air conditioned comfort. Sunday morning participants will enjoy the Spitfire breakfast, then the driving tour which winds through scenic back roads to a local winery.

"Brits on the Beach" is the Central Island Branch's greatest event of the year. In 2013 we had nearly 300 British cars, trucks and motorcycles participating from all over BC and beyond. Participants bring their vehicles from the north island, south island, all over the mainland, Washington State, and sometimes even farther! This event is a feast for the eyes. You just never know what you'll see or who you'll meet.

The British are coming!

The British Invasion is the Largest All-British Motorcar Show and British Lifestyle Event in the Eastern United States, annually attracting over 650 British Motorcars to the rustic mountain village of Stowe, Vermont on the weekend of the 3rd Saturday in the month of September each year. 2015 is a special celebration as it marks the 25th year of the British Invasion weekend.

On Friday, September 18th Registrants will collect their Registration Packages at the Registration Tent at the Stowe Special Events Field. From 4:30 to 6:30 we will host a reception at the show field for Registrants and Guests. From 6:30 to 9:30 PM, the Stowe Vibrancy Committee will host a Main Street Party. Main Street will be closed off to through traffic and reserved for British Motorcar Parking. Registrants and Guests and the local Community are invited to join in the merriment and a Live Band, with food and beverages available.
Saturday, September 19th will feature the British Concours d’Elegance, our judged competition for British Motorcar that are 25 years old and older. The British Classic Motorcar Show is the heart of our weekend of activities as we will offer over sixty (65) separate classes for British Awards will be presented for first, second and third place based upon the number of cars on the show field at 12:00 Noon on Saturday.

For the Ladies, our Queen will hold court and assemble the ladies for a Royal “Ladies Hat Competition” with awards presented. To add to the merriment, we have invited the car show registrants and their guests, as well as the General Public to impress our judges, who will be roving the show grounds incognito seeking the best examples of “British Attire” to recognize and award. The themes can be varied, could be Sherlock Holms, Robin Hood, Lady Marion, Winston Churchill, Sir Lancelot, Elton John, your favorite Beatle, just about anyone, well except for the “Queen,’’ as there can only be one Queen. You might wear your grandfather’s kilt or come dressed in fashion we have not yet thought of. Our judges will be tasked with selecting the Best of the Best.

Saturday will attract our vendors in the British Marketplace seeking a few of your crispies for British Motoring accessories, Motoring books, scale model motorcars, NOS Parts, Services, Ladies jewelry and fashion, or perhaps some British Motorcar Festival regalia. Perhaps you might find a local craft vendor presenting something very special for your consideration. Then add to this an amazing collection of “British Invasion” Music in the background to add to the flavor of the day. Based on interest and availability we may just add a very special Theme dinner on Saturday evening to round out the day.

Sunday, September 20thh - the fun continues. We will start with a 70 minute morning Smuggler’s Notch Run for those wishing to see more of rural Vermont. Meanwhile back at the show grounds at the Stowe Special Events Field, people will be setting up for the “Tailgate Picnic Competition” and the “Competition of Colors”. The British Market and Car Corral will in full swing as we present a special drive-by of the First Place Winners from the Saturday British Classic Motorcar Show.

Our website, http://www.britishinvasion.com contains registration information as well as a roster of nearby accommodations and restaurants for your reference. We hope that you will mark your calendars and plan to attend this most significant British Motoring Lifestyle event. The first 300 to Register will receive a special 25th Anniversary Meet Gift. You can register on-line using PayPal or download the registration form and mail it in. Remember to mark your calendars for the weekend of the third Saturday in the month of September (18th-20th) and join us in Stowe, Vermont for the 25th Year Celebration of the “British Invasion,” the largest All-British Motorcar Show and lifestyle event in the Eastern United States.
