This site covers our One Lap of Australia in a Clubman Window Van I bought and it includes a little bit about our Mini background.

The 1977 MGB sat in the garage from August 1991 until we rebuilt it...because of the Mini madness.

Woody in 1980

Started December 1st, 2015 on the steel work for the restoration of a 1962 Austin Mini Countryman...which shell had been sitting on a rack in my garage for 15 years. The Woody Wagon was built July 19, 1961 and shipped 2 days later to a Dealer in New York. We don't know much about its early history when a major crash saw an older front end spliced onto the rear. It was thoroughly prepared - new rad/hoses/belt/water pump, new clutch/slave and idler gear bearings, new engine and tranny seals, new QH universal joints, new muffler & tai...

Upper Fraser Valley

I bought the B in September 1983 and have just sold it after rebuild 31 years later...however, to be fair, I only rebuilt, repowered and then drove the B until 1991, after which it sat for 20 years in the garage before the second rebuild. My drive from the British Columbia coast on September 20th was nostalgic. The soft top was off (yes off and if you modify the top anchorage you too can have an easy on easy off top). There was some early morning fog so the serviced wiper motor & rack with ...
