“Lucky”
1962 Austin Mini Countryman, shipped July 20, 1961 to dealer in New York. Factory fitted equipment - heater, whitewall tyres, less overriders.

This Countryman finally found its way to California as a parts car, later sold to a Californian who sold it to a Canadian, who sold it to me. Might have become scrap years ago but escaped! Thus 'Lucky'.

Stripped bare...awaiting steel work, wood fit, paint....

Will be getting new floors, new heel board, new wings, new new apron, new bonnet, new paint, new interior, new ash (wood), new fuel tank, new hydraulics, rebuilt Metro 8.4" disc brakes, new 12" wheels/tyres and a custom built turbocharged A Series power unit.
