There are a number of different mini's.
Several different Coopers, and a hand full of different Cooper S's.
The '63 on ebay is a nice example of a Mkl Cooper S, except that is has been fitted with a MKll interior.
Mkl's and Mkll's have the outside door hinges and sliding windows, Mklll's have hidden hinges, and wind up windows.

Thanks for the information. I was told at one time that Coopers had chrome trim around the window opening (or was it the rain gutter?) along with a couple of other small tells, none of which are rememberable. It seems almost all of the ebay offerings are Coopers of one flavor or another, with only the occasional Austin or Morris Mini. I thought the Coopers were the more rare version.

All of the Mkl and Mkll minis, Coopers and Cooper S's were built as Austin or Morris.
Later cars were built as Rovers.
Original Coopers (and S's did have the chrome window trim).
With the vast number of cars produced, and the equally vast number of variants identification can be daunting. Not to mention modified cars and faux cars as well as re-VIN'ed cars.

Heres a good resource.
