Currently building a retro classic from a totally rusted wreck that hadn't been on the road since 1985. I really hope my Magnette V8 doesn't upset the purists too much. The MGCC (Auckland) are very supportive of the Magnette project, as they too realised that it wasn't economic to restore to original and no one else wanted it...

Thanks to an MGB owner in NZ, he pointed me towards the MGB Experience website. To catch up with my own Magnette V8 project, try: http://www.tops.co.nz Just a warning - about 26 pages of progress, blind alleys, frustrations and successes. The engine has at long last been fired up and now I am busy making fibreglass panels so that the rare originals can be preserved.
