I have had motor cars from the 30's to the 60's as a hobby since before I was a teenager. Owning M.G's, Rileys (Pre & Post war cars) Mini's and driven a 3 litre Bentleys, Porsches, Silverstone Healey. Currently my preferred Classic is our 100 Healey - according to docments from a previous owner it started life as a 100M
Our Healey has seen competition by previous owners, its been written off and rebuilt using a new BN 2 chassis and all BN 2 mechanicals. Today and building on previous owners modifications our Healey is modified mechanically being bore out to 2914cc, fully balanced engine and crank/flywheel, running flat top pistons on 10.2:1 compression ratio, fully worked head,"warm" touring cam, ligtened flywheel, a BN 2, 4 speed gearbox a 3.9 rear axle ratio assisted by 2" S.U Carburettrs.
Needless to say our Healey parked in the street looks like a standard BN 1 or BN 2 car.
